The Wx-80 is a twin-seater, single-engine, propeller-driven aircraft designed and customized specifically for the field of weather research and cloud seeding operation with long endurance. The aircraft is powered by the proven P&WC PT6 engine, providing excellent flight and operational performance needed for such missions. The Wx-80 utilizes advanced Cockpit and modern systems, such as an advanced weather radar to continuously monitor the atmosphere and optimize the deployment of cloud seeding cartridges to encourage the formation of raindrops.

The aircraft is a very stable and safe platform suitable for weather research and cloud seeding. With spacious glass cockpit, Advanced Environmental Control System and integrated displays for cloud seeding equipment, the long endurance operations are conducted safely and with minimal pilots fatigue.
